Baked Ravioli Casserole – Recipes

Baked Ravioli Casserole- I use 5 cups of my own marinara sauce, so eliminate spices, tomatoes and jar sauce in recipe.

1 quart spaghetti sauce
1 1/4 lbs. ground beef
1 14.5 oz. can petite tomatoes
1/2 cup diced onion
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 teaspoon Italian spices
1 clove minced garlic
salt and pepper
26 oz. bag frozen cheese ravioli
2 cups mozzarella cheese

Brown the ground beef. Add the onion, salt, pepper and garlic. When the onion is translucent add the jar of spaghetti sauce, petite tomatoes and spices. Cook for 20 minutes.
While the sauce is cooking add the frozen ravioli to a pan of boiling salted water. When it comes back to a boil, cook for 1 minute more. Drain in a colander.
